W.M. Pipkin

Bro. W.M. Pipkin at Millikan, Little River county, Arkansas, May 20th, 1891 at 4 p.m.
Bro. Pipkin died of a protracted and complicated attack of la grippe, from which he suffered for about twenty months, almost beyond the conception of man. He has been a deacon and leading member of the Baptist church of this place for many years. His piety, zeal and devotion was such as to impress those who knew him of his strong faith; that makes our loss the greater. But our loss is his gain; dying steadfast in hope. May we all meet beyond deaths power, bye and bye.

R. H. McConnel

Died March 20th, 1891, aged 74 years and 14 days.

Bro. McConnel was born March 6th, 1815 and in 1868 confessed Christ and united with the Oak Grove Baptist church, Sebastian county, Arkansas, of which he lived a consistent, orderly life to his death. He leaves a wife and seven grown children, together with a large circle of brethren and friends to mourn the loss; but believing our loss to be his gain we submit to God's ways. In the name of the Oak Grove church,  we tender the bereaved family our sincere sympathy and prayers in their sad bereavement.
