Sister Oney Elizabeth Bain, near Center Grove, Arkansas, June 21st, 1891. Aged about 20 years.
Sister Bain was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church, the only daughter of Bro. William and sister Guire, and wife of Bro. Bain. She was a Baptist and a true Christian and when she knew that it was the Fathers will to call her from earth to heaven, she was willing to go. She had only been married a few months, but her conversation with and prayers for her husband caused him to embrace Christ as his Savior.
The sunlight falls upon her grave
To Chase the shadows far away,
And he who died her soul to save
Has called her home to endless day.
