Maynard Protho

Maynard Protho, son of W.W. and Emily R. Protho, was born in Pulaski county, Ark., October 14, 1872; died October 1, 1896, at the home of his father. Maynard was converted and professed his faith in Christ in the winter of 1895, while traveling in Texas for his health. When he realized that death was near, he expressed himself as hopeful that comes only through Christ. One by one he called each of his family and friends present and bid them goodbye, saying, "Meet me in heaven." He leaves a father, mother, two sisters and five brothers, and many friends to mourn his absence.
